I’m Annie Davis, the founder and CEO of Davis Designs, a web development and marketing firm based in Utah. My journey into this field wasn’t something I planned—it all started back in 2015 when I stumbled upon a part-time, work-from-home project manager position. That role opened my eyes to the world of website development and marketing, and I was hooked. Over the years, I worked my way up to becoming the CEO of that company, and in 2018, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own firm. That’s how Davis Designs was born.
At Davis Designs, we specialize in creating custom, high-quality websites and marketing strategies for small businesses. I’ve always believed that every business is unique, and our approach reflects that. We take the time to truly understand our clients—their goals, challenges, and vision—so we can deliver solutions that not only meet their needs but also help them thrive. One of the things I’m most proud of is our “no surprise invoicing” policy. We stick to our word, even if it means taking a hit financially, because building trust and long-term relationships with our clients is what matters most. It’s this commitment to going above and beyond that has earned us a 90% referral rate and two consecutive Best of SLC awards in Web Development for 2024 and 2025.
Running a business hasn’t always been smooth sailing, especially while raising two kids. I’ve had moments where I was answering client emails from a hospital bed during labor because, as a small team, there wasn’t anyone else to step in. But those challenges have taught me resilience and the importance of building a strong, supportive team. Today, I’m fortunate to work with an incredible group of people who share my passion for helping businesses succeed.
Outside of work, I’m a mom, an adventurer, and a lifelong learner. Growing up in Reno, I spent my childhood exploring the hills, catching bugs, and embracing the outdoors. I even had a pet scorpion named Lily! Those days of curiosity and exploration shaped who I am today and continue to inspire me in both my personal and professional life.
When I’m not brainstorming new ideas for clients or leading my team, I love spending time with my family and embracing the ever-changing challenges of life. Whether it’s hiking, exploring new places, or simply enjoying the little moments, I find joy in staying curious and connected. That sense of adventure and creativity fuels everything I do, from building websites to building memories with my kids.
